August 24 - 25, 2024:
Move-in for returning students and move-in for on-campus apartments
What to expect on move-in day:
1. Arrive to campus during your time slot and go to your designated unloading zone
Move-in timeslot selection begins the week of July 15, 2024. Once you have confirmed a move-in timeslot, directions to your unloading zone, and need-to-know housing info will be sent via your WCU email.
2. Unload your belongings
Once in the unloading zone, you will have a maximum of 30 minutes to unload your belongings. There will be large carts and plenty of smiling volunteers to help you unload.
3. Check-in and receive your Ram Card and Room Key
You will check-in at your assigned residence hall. You will receive your room key and your Ram Card (student ID card)*.
*To receive your Ram Card at move-in day check-in, you must upload a photo prior to move-in day. Upload your Ram Card photo ->
4. Move car to designated parking lot/garage
Select WCU parking lots and select parking garages are complimentary during move-in days. Most parking lots and garages are a 5-10 minute walk from the residence halls. After parking, parents and family are welcome to return to your room and help you get settled into your new home. Designated parking lots/garages on move-in day
5. Make your space your new home sweet home
Unpack, decorate, organize and make your new space comfy and cozy.

7. Enjoy your day!
Explore campus, meet your new neighbors, grab a bite to eat in the local area, run errands, shop for dorm items, and get ready for the fun Welcome Week events and activities.
