Teaching Excellence Network (TEN)

The Teaching Excellence Network (TEN) was established in Fall 2023 as a collaboration between the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) and teaching excellence ambassadors representing all schools and colleges. Faculty ambassadors are appointed or nominated by their respective deans for a 2-year term of service.

The ambassadors dedicate their time and expertise to serve as bridges between the TLC and their respective colleges. They attend regular meetings, share resources across departments, and provide feedback to help the TLC better understand college-level teaching support needs while serving as liaisons who communicate relevant information to their colleges and peers. The network meetings are a space where classroom and non-classroom faculty, who sometimes feel disconnected from teaching conversations, engage in pedagogical discussions and build relationships across disciplines.
