The West Chester University Resource Pantry is proud to partner with organizations such as the Chester County Food Bank, the West Chester Food Cupboard, and other local food providers to extend their resources to our students.
If you can’t make it when the Resource Pantry is open or you need supplemental support, check out the resources below:
West Chester Food Cupboard
West Chester Food Cupboard operates with a large selection of produce, perishable and non perishable items, as well as personal care which provides about two weeks worth of groceries. Chester County residents may shop once per month.

Tuesday- 8:30-11:30am, 2:00pm-7:00pm
Wednesday- 2:00 -7:00pm

Food Cupboard Express
The West Chester Food Cupboard also provides an Express cupboard service which is located at the same address and provides a slightly smaller yet still substantial selection of food items. Shoppers can come as often as needed, regardless of residence.

ACTnow
ACTnow provides food and personal care items in their Community Cupboard to Chester County residents. They also offer employment support and housing assistance programs.

Salvation Army
The Salvation Army has a food pantry serving Chester County residents, as well as a choice pantry called Manna From Heaven pantry that serves West Chester residents (zip codes 19380, 19381 or 19382).
Hours:
Tuesdays-10:00-12:00pm
Thursdays-10:00-12:00pm
They also offer hot meals all are welcome to attend:
Breakfast: Monday - Thursday at 7:00 AM
Dinner: Sunday - Thursday and Saturday (except the second Saturday of each month)
at 5:00 PM.

For residents outside of the West Chester Borough, Chester County Food Bank’s Food Finder will help locate food providers closest to you.
