Laura Pyott has been a member of the faculty of the WCU Math Department since 2001. She is a member of the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and serves on the executive board of the Pennsylvania/New Jersey chapter of AAPOR (PANJAAPOR). She has experience in survey design and data analysis in the research fields of education, communications, and performing arts. Professor Pyott teaches a course on statistical methods for political polling and, with her students, conducts a statewide election poll of PASSHE undergraduates (the Ram Poll) in fall of even years.
Cheng Peng, PhD

Cheng Peng has been a member of the faculty of the WCU Math Department since 2019. Prior to WCU, Dr. Peng was a senior data scients at WEX, Inc. and a professor at the Unversity of Southern Maine from 2003 to 2017. He is a member of the American American Statistical Association (ASA.)
