Minors

The Department of Computer Sciences offers two minors that are intended for non Computer Science majors only.


Computer Science Minor

 

The Computer Science Minor consists of 19 credits and a subset of computer science core courses.

A student must earn a minimum grade of C- in each course and a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 in all courses taken for the minor.

 


Minor in Information Technology

The Information Technology minor introduces students to the fundamentals of programming, computer security, web technology, database systems and networking. It includes the basic concepts of computer science, but with less emphasis on programming.

These six courses must be completed:
