Gold Bromide (HAuBr4)
The gold bromide test is the most reliable test for pentedrone. 10 μg of pentendrone when mixed with gold bromide, gives characteristic orange red spindles that grow abundantly with time. The crystals grow on the surface of the glass slide and are hard to move. The crystals are bright under crossed polars.
