Curriculum Vitae

Henry Pearlberg, retired from Wallingford-Swarthmore School District in July 2022 after 40 years in public school music education. Mr. Pearlberg has taught classroom and instrumental music at the elementary and secondary level. During his last five years at Wallingford-Swarthmore he was the chairperson of the music department.

Mr. Pearlberg is a past PMEA District and State President and has been coordinating Modern Band programming for PMEA since 2018, coordinating Modern Band Professional Development and Student Performance Opportunities. Currently, Mr. Pearlberg supervises student teachers at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music, Co-director of the Summer Modern Music Makers Workshop at West Chester University, is an Education Representative for Zeswitz Music, He is past president of Pennsylvania’s Phi Beta Mu Band Masters Fraternity and remains active as a performing musician, clinician, adjudicator, consultant, and private music instructor. Most importantly, he is a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
