Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science
The B.S. in Exercise Science (ES) program is designed to prepare students for positions in the growing and multifaceted field of health and fitness or to gain admission into various professional and graduate programs. In addition, students will be prepared for success in appropriate certification examinations. The primary focus of the ES program is for each student to develop abilities and master knowledge and skills necessary to provide leadership in the health and fitness fields, as well as be a successful member of society. Four curricular paths are offered within the program. They include exercise science specialist, pre-chiropractic concentration, pre-occupational therapy concentration, and pre-physical therapy concentration. The Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

- Pre-Physical Therapy Articulation Agreement-Arcadia University
The Exercise Science Division of the Department of Kinesiology has articulation agreements with several universities. Articulation agreements are formal understandings, or partnerships, between two colleges or universities. They provide a simplified process for West Chester University students to apply and have a preferential review of their application into a specific graduate program at the college or university. These arrangements outline specific undergraduate pre-requisite courses and desired GPAs in order to meet the requirements for the admission application.
