Communication Sciences and Disorders

Full diagnostic evaluations are offered for children and adults suspected of having speech, language, voice, feeding, swallowing, cognitive-communication, or hearing disorders. Using the latest equipment, technologies, and assessment tools, the diagnostic team provides comprehensive evaluations.

Our clinic provides a wide array of hearing assessment and therapy services. We use state of the art, modern diagnostic assessment technology to assess patients ranging from infants to adults using middle ear immittance measurements, diagnostic testing, and hearing in noise assessments. We also provide Auditory Processing evaluations for any individual age seven and older.

The clinic offers services for those interested in modifying aspects of their communication including accent modification, professional speaking, and voice training.

Graduate students clinicians are supervised by speech-language pathologists and audiologists, all holding professional certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure from the state of Pennsylvania. Clinical Supervisors use state-of-the-art video technology to observe students during clinical sessions. 

Therapy sessions run by graduate student clinicians are offered once or twice a week during the fall and spring semesters. Summer programs are offered throughout the day during the month of July.
