Bradley Flamm

Bradley Flamm has been the Director of West Chester University’s Office of Sustainability since 2017 and works with the large and diverse community of students, faculty, staff, and community partners who are active in WCU’s Sustainability Council. He holds a doctorate in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and a master’s degree in Regional Planning from Cornell University and brings to this work the knowledge and skills he has developed as a professional transportation planner, a researcher and teacher, a food security analyst and community development worker, and an environmental advocate.
Nur Ritter
Stewardship Manager, Robert B. Gordon Natural Area for Environmental Studies

Nur Ritter became the second Stewardship Manager of the GNA in January 2016. Nur received a B.S. in Botany from the University of New Hampshire in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of New Hampshire in 2000. His doctoral research entailed a country-wide survey of aquatic vegetation and habitats in Bolivia, and focused on evaluating plant species diversity and phytogeographic relationships in a wide range of wetland types.
Before attending university, he worked for 20+ years as a carpenter and contractor. After earning his degrees, he worked as a restoration practitioner for the CSU Stanislaus, Endangered Species Recovery Program (ESRP) for seven years. During this time, he participated in all aspects of the design and implementation of a large-scale habitat restoration study on retired agricultural land in the San Joaquin Valley (California). Subsequently, he returned to New Hampshire where he was employed as a Restoration Ecologist by the New Hampshire chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Nur has also worked as a Contract Botanist and as a self-employed Database Developer.
Calli Lambard

Calli Lambard joined the WCU Office of Sustainability staff in 2023. She is a 2023 graduate of Susquehanna University with Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing. During her time at Susquehanna, Calli worked as a Sustainability Project Leader, creating student outreach events and running communications for the Office of Sustainability. She also runs a sustainability book club at Commonplace Reader in Yardley, PA, where the group discusses books related to climate change and the environment. She is excited to bring her experience to WCU and help make a difference on campus.
Joanna Guay
Graduate Assistant for Data Monitoring and Analysis
Joanna Guay is a graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She graduated from the University of Rochester in 2021 with a major in Business Analytics, and also played on the University women’s soccer team during her time there. While working in finance/marketing post-graduation, she also had a strong ongoing interest in the psychology field which she explored by volunteering at a local neuropsychology practice for a year and a half. This experience fueled and confirmed her passion to pursue a career in the helping profession. Joanna is excited to bridge her interests in human behavior with learning the science and art behind building a professional relationship with someone in order to create meaningful improvements in their lives and ways of being. Joanna also has a goal to explore integrating her passion for helping others with her interest in social, economic, and environmental sustainability. In her spare time, Joanna loves listening to music, recreational sports/activities, watercolor art, and hanging out with her tabby cat Kermit.
Paige Jones
Graduate Assistant for Social Media and Student Outreach
Paige Jones (she/her) is attending West Chester University for the first this fall as she works toward her M.Ed. in School Counseling. She graduated from Canisius University in 2022 with a major in Spanish and a minor in Animal Behavior, Ecology and Conservation. After college, Paige spent a year doing volunteer service with the JVC Northwest through an Americorp funded position. During her year of volunteer work, Paige nourished a passion for environmental justice, especially as it intersects with justice for marginalized communities.
Currently, Paige is a caregiver for her grandmother in Conshohocken. In her free time, you can find Paige reading, writing, doing some artwork, or spending time with her two kitties. She is very excited to join the West Chester community and the office of Sustainability as the Graduate Assistant for Social Media and Student Outreach.
Emma Galantuomo
Graduate Assistant for the Sustainability Peer Education Program
Emma Galantuomo is a graduate student pursuing her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, building on her undergraduate studies completed at Temple University. Her experience working in schools has fueled her passion for advocating for students with disabilities, particularly in aiding their communication. Emma is excited for what the upcoming year has in store for sustainability education at West Chester University. As she progresses in her studies, Emma has a goal to integrate her dedication to communication advocacy and environmental issues. She finds the importance in recognizing the interconnectedness of inclusivity, sustainability practices, and environmental health. In her free time Emma loves trying new restaurants, thrifting, and going to the beach.
