Bio

Dr. Karen Dickinson experience as an educator spans over 40 years, previously as a teacher in elementary and special education and as a school counselor in the K-12 school system. Teaching and training counselors in higher education for the past 16 years has allowed her passion for helping others grow and discover their strengths to continue.

Dickinson’s research and book publications all focus on the professional school counselor, students with diverse needs, and bullying.
