Dr. Dara Dirhan

Bio
Dr. Dara Dirhan is a proud alumna of West Chester University where she earned her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics, followed by her Master’s in Public Health. She completed her dietetic internship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA and earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a concentration in Higher Education from Drexel University.
She is a registered dietitian and previously worked in the corporate wellness arena. Dr. Dirhan’s current research agenda is focused on studying mindfulness in undergraduate nutrition students, and intuitive eating. She is proud to serve as the DPD Director for the nutrition department and welcomes students’ inquiries regarding the dietetics major.
