English Senior Angira Pettit-Pickens Wins 2015 CAS Outstanding Student Award
The English Department would like to extend special congratulations to graduating senior Angira S. Pettit-Pickens. In addition to winning the English Department’s Best Seminar Paper Award for her essay "I Own This Body & I Own This Revolution: The Importance of Self-Representation in the Civil Rights and Black Power Movements ," Angira also took home the prestigious College of Arts & Sciences Outstanding Student Award.
